What is changing with General Insurance at HBF?
Recently, we wrote to members who currently hold general insurance products with HBF (Home, Car, and
Leisure Products).
In this letter we explained that following a thorough review, we are no longer offering
general
insurance products, effective 1 July 2021.

What does this mean for members with existing general insurance policies?
From 1 July 2021, Insurance Australia Limited (IAG) will provide support on all
general insurance policy-related queries. This means, you can call the IAG Customer Care Centre on 1300 168 260 if you would like to make any changes or have
any questions regarding your general insurance policy. Please also note that your general insurance
policy is no longer visible in myHBF or the HBF App.
We are working closely with IAG to manage this change as seamlessly as possible. Please note that
there is no change to HBF’s Health Insurance.
