The best part? You can try LinkedIn Learning for FREE. In no time you can learn new skills or strengthen ones you already have. Either way, you’ll make yourself a stronger job candidate with updated credentials under your belt.

E-Books & Audiobooks
I love books. I’m constantly reading or listening to non-fiction or self-help style reads. It’s a good habit to get into as lifelong learners are often happier workers. Below is a list of recommended reads (or listens) to guide you in your remote work journey.

Make Money From Home Best-Selling E-Books
I could seriously sit here and list dozens upon dozens of e-books geared toward remote job seekers and specifically how to earn money from home. But instead of loading this list with tons of books, I recommend you check out the Top 10 Work From Home E-Books on Amazon. There’s something for everyone — and the list constantly changes so you never know what you’ll find!
Remote Job Search Sites
When it comes to remote job search sites, I only recommend a couple. Although there are tons of remote job boards out there, just a select few screen their job leads. This means you can rest assured the remote job you’re applying for is the real deal. In other words, you don’t have to worry about scams. Plus, you can literally find thousands (yes, thousands) of jobs using just these sites.
FlexJobs
FlexJobs is hands down the largest source of remote job listings. Not only is every job scam free, there are tons of membership resources. These include career coaching, webinars, virtual job fairs, and more. Membership prices vary. You can opt for a free 5-job trial or sign up for an entire year. You use FlexJobs Promo Code SAVE30 to save 30% on your FlexJobs membership.
Remotive.io
Remotive primarily has jobs from startups (companies that have been up and running for 5 years or less). What I love about Remotive is the community aspect of it, including a Slack channel you can join for a small fee. This provides a chance to network during your remote job search. And, like FlexJobs, leads are screened so you can confidently apply to any listing you find. Sit in on the free webinar to find out what it takes to get hired at a startup.
Home Office Must-Haves
If you work at home currently or want to become a remote worker, put thought into your home office setup. The right home office provides a place to better manage your time and fend off distractions like a pro. Plus, if you’re looking for a remote work, one of the most common remote interview questions is, “Do you have a home office currently set up?” And, if you prepare ahead of time, you can confidently answer “yes,” which puts you waaayyy ahead of candidates who haven’t yet considered their home office setup.
FlexiSpot Standing Desk
I own and LOVE my FlexiSpot Standing Desk. I have the Kana Pro Bamboo version. Not only is it beautiful (seriously, the bamboo top is incredible) but it’s functional and good for you too.
Standing desks have benefits for remote workers like reduced back pain, better energy levels, and greater productivity. Plus, when you choose a standing desk with a lifting system (like the one I have), you can easily switch from sitting to standing with the simple press of a button.
Check out the Kana Pro Bamboo Standing Desk and be sure to use promo code kanapro30 to save $30 on your purchase.
Rocketbook
I have both the Rocketbook Panda Planner and Rocket Fusion Book. As you can see, I’ve customized mine (I seriously love stickers). The benefits of Rocketbook is the zero paper waste. These reusable notebooks and planners allow you to write and highlight using FriXion writing tools just as you normally would but then you can magically wipe away your writing to start over again.
The Rocketbook app keeps previously written pages and notes for you in the cloud so you can effortlessly organize your entire life without having paper everywhere. It’s a win for you and the environment!
Awesome Amazon Finds
You know it. I know it. You can find just about anything on Amazon. In fact, a lot of my home office accessories like my cable management system, phone stand, foot rest, mouse pad, and more have come from Amazon.
Instead of going through each Amazon item one bye one, I’ve created a storefront of favorite items for the perfect home office setup. There’s even a list of ideas to find the perfect gift for the remote worker in your life!

Affiliate Disclosure
I don’t use ads or annoying popups on Work from Home Happiness. Instead, I use affiliate links to earn commission when someone (like you) makes a purchase of a product I recommend.
Using my affiliate link doesn’t cost you anything extra. In fact, you can often save money using promo codes I share with you. You can learn more about affiliate links and how I use them by reading my disclosure statement.
I only recommend products, services, and sites that I have tried myself, trust and love. Sometimes companies send me samples of their products to try out and post an honest review. I never ever accept money or sponsored posts to promote services and products.
I truly appreciate it if you use my affiliate links to check out recommendations and make a purchase. It allows me to provide remote work resources without using tracking ads or pop ups.
