NexRep Work From Home Opportunities
There are pros and cons of any work at home job opportunity. That’s why I always recommend you take the time to decide which work from home opportunity is right for you. Some people will benefit from the flexibility that comes with working as an independent contractor while others may need the security of an hourly, employee position.
If you like the idea of extreme flexibility, working independently, and setting your own hours, then finding an opportunity as an independent contractor (IC) is your best bet. NexRep is one of many companies that hires ICs for different sales, tech support, and customer care opportunities.
11 NexRep Work From Home Opportunities
NexRep is not your conventional call center. They provide 100% U.S.-based virtual agents. All agents are certified (for free!) and work as contractors. And thanks to their entirely cloud-based platform, they can offer customer support that is completely scalable–no project is too big or too small!
NexRep Work From Home Overview
As a NexRep agent, you can become certified as an inbound, outbound, or multi-channel agent. This gives you the ability to respond to any call type with confidence. The certification process is meant to help agents become successful no matter which of the NexRep work from home opportunities they pursue:
- Inbound Sales
- Outbound Sales
- Customer Service
NexRep Work From Home Inbound Sales
NexRep Work From Home Inbound Sales operations provides service at all times. This allows agents extra flexibility in scheduling. Inbound Sales agents are trained to be authentic representatives of the particular brand they are contracted to work with.
NexRep locates agents that are users of or already familiar with a brand or product. This gives agents the ability to relate to the customer better. And when you can better relate to a customer and connect with them on a personal level, sales opportunity increases (win-win!).
NexRep Work From Home Outbound Sales
To be considered for a NexRep Work From Home Outbound Sales opportunity, you will need to have prior sales experience. Your previous experience will give you the basic skills needed to succeed when selling and upselling to customers. Some of the outbound calls you can expect to handle include:
- Recovery – following up on inbound calls that did not result in a sale
- Web Abandons – providing assistance when customers shop online
- Retention – cross-selling, up-selling, and recommending products to existing customers
NexRep Work From Home Customer Service
As with the inside sales and outbound sales, NexRep Customer Service Agents are all certified. Candidates are hand-selected so that only the most passionate reps for a product are brought on board. This passion for a brand, product or service, authentically connects representatives with customers. This gives companies reassurance that their brands are being represented in a way that is true to their mission and allows representatives to better serve customers (again, win-win!). NexRep Work From Home Customer Service Agents can expect to handle a variety of inquiries, including:
- Order Status & Tier 1 – returns, order status, account status, cancellations

NexRep Work From Home Benefits
Since NexRep Agents are independent contractors, you will have control over your own success. Some of the benefits of NexRep work from home agents include:
- Flexibility
- Growth
- Autonomy
- Be your own boss
- Free certification
- NexRep support when needed
Many agents average $15.00 per hour and some of the more dedicated reps can earn as high as $25.00 per hour. Since you are in control, you can choose to optimize your schedule for maximum earnings! As with any independent contractor position, you get what you put into it. If you are not dedicated, you will not do as well as you could. If you don’t work often enough, you won’t earn much either. This is a contract position. You are your own boss and in charge of your earnings.
NexRep Work From Home Qualifications
If you have the drive to succeed and the dedication it takes to work from home, you are well on your way to having what it takes to be a NexRep Agent. But in addition to passion and work ethic, you will need to meet a few requirements:
- Must be a resident of and authorized to work in the United States
- A quiet home office free of noise and distractions
- Cell phone or landline (needed for the certification process only, not the work itself)
- Must pass a background check
As I mentioned, certification for NexRep is completely free. However, you must pass a background check to contract with NexRep. You will have to pay for it. The cost is $25.00. Typically, I recommend that you never pay to work from home, but legitimate expenses do arise from time to time. This is one of them. You do not need to pay for the check until you go through the application process and have been matched with the right opportunity.
NexRep Work From Home Technical Requirements
In order to be successful as a NexRep Agent, you will need to have certain equipment and meet technical requirements. You will need a PC or Mac with the following:
- Ability to read Word, Excel, and PDFs
- 1GB of RAM memory
- Windows Vista, 7 or 8 Operating System (if PC)
- Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks Operating System (if Mac)
You will also need a printer, noise-cancelling headset connected via USB (no bluetooth), high-speed internet that is hardwired to connection (no satellite or WiFi).
If you meet the requirements and are able to pass and pay for the $25.00 background check, you are probably wondering what NexRep Work From Home opportunities are out there. Check out the slideshow below:

If you think a NexRep Work From Home is right for you, you can head on over to their Application Page to begin the onboarding process. Here’s what you can expect once you are ready to apply:
Complete Your Application
NexRep will review your application including previous work experience. If they think you’d be a great fit for one of their open opportunities, they will set up a phone assessment.

During the phone assessment, NexRep will discuss the open opportunities while assessing your phone presence. If you and the Rep feel you might be a good fit, you will receive an invite to contract and be able to sign up for an upcoming certification class. This is the point where you will need to pay the $25.00 for the background check.
New Agent Set Up
Once you background check has been completed, NexRep will get you setup as an agent in their system. You will need to sign the Independent Contractor Agreement and return it by mail.
Certification
After NexRep receives your documents, you will attend a certification class on the date of your choosing. This is where you will learn more about the product or service you will be representing and how to access the NexRep system. The certification process will prepare you to take your first call.
Go Live
You will take your first calls during the final stages of certification (they will be paid). Once you’ve completed certification, you can begin taking calls on and earning money.
NexRep Work From Home Review
If you’ve made it this far, you are probably interested in working from home through NexRep. As a reminder, this opportunity is not for everyone. Because this is an independent contractor position, the amount of money you make will largely depend on the time and effort you put into it.
Overall, reviews from current contractors are positive. Most contractors favor the work-life balance and the ability to schedule their own hours. Some of the cons touch on company support and inability to get direct answers from NexRep.
All in all, the NexRep work from home opportunities are a legitimate way to earn money each and every month. If you’re interested, it doesn’t hurt to apply and discuss the opportunity during the phone assessment. During that time, you will be able to determine whether or not NexRep is a good fit for you. Remember, as an independent contractor, you have control over how you work and what you make. If you are committed and driven, you could very well turn a NexRep work from home opportunity into a well-paying career.
