Make an online payment
If you pay your HBF premiums manually, you can make a payment online through our secure payment portal.
Here’s what you need:
- Payment number (found on your Payment Statement)
- HBF member number
Pay by direct debit
Paying by direct debit is safe and fuss-free, making sure your premiums are always paid on time with automatic deductions on a specific date. To set up direct debit, login to myHBF or the HBF App, navigate to ‘Update your payment details’ and follow the prompts.
Things to know about paying by direct debit
While we don’t charge our members for using direct debit, some financial institutions may apply transactional fees and/or other charges as a result of insufficient funds. Please check with your financial institution.
Your first direct debit may include an adjustment to ensure your membership is financial or to coincide with your nominated date. If your premiums alter or you change your membership, we’ll adjust the deductions accordingly and advise you in writing.
If any of your payment information has changed or you are facing financial difficulty, please call us on 133 423 to see how we can help.
Pre-pay
You can prepay your health policy up to 18 months in advance, which could mean avoiding any increase in your health insurance premiums until the date you’ve paid. Contact us to pre-pay your account.
